Nissan Certified Collision Repair Program Gets Even Better!

 

The Nissan Certified Collision Repair Network Program has received some changes recently; the program has been redesigned to be consumer focused and will bring Nissan vehicle owners and Nissan Certified Collision Repair Providers together. This new program is aimed at enhancing the relationships between Certified Shops within the network and Nissan Owners. The Nissan Collision Repair Network combines Shop Certification, consumer awareness and education elements, along with shop locators to ensure that Nissan customers can locate the Certified repairer wherever and whenever they might need one. “In some cases, Nissan customers have endured a collision repair experience – and the resulting repairs – that have been controlled by third parties who don’t necessarily have the customer’s best interests in mind,” said Mark Zoba, Collision Parts Manager, Nissan North America.  “Nissan values our customers and is willing to do whatever we can to enhance our customer’s experience. Nissan Reports Gain in First Six Months of Fiscal Year 2014

 

Nissan recently published its financial reports for the first six months of its financial year, ending on September 30, 2014. In spite of volatile economic conditions in several markets, Nissan has been successful in keeping a strong demand for new products, rising sales in the key North American market, and the favorable impact of the yen correction against the U.S. dollar. During this time, Nissan found that its operating profit rose to $2.54 billion for the first half of the 2014 fiscal year – representing a 5.1% margin on net revenues. “Nissan successfully overcame challenging market conditions in the first-half of the fiscal year, delivering solid revenues and profitability amid encouraging demand for our latest models,” said Carlos Ghosn, president and chief executive officer. First-Ever 2015 GT-R NISMO for U.S. Market Gets Special Delivery

 

Earlier this week, Matt McCulloh took delivery of the first 2015 Nissan GT-R NISMO made for the U.S. market. The North Carolina resident is now the very first owner of the 600-horsepower 2015 GT-R NISMO. On the day of arrival, McCulloh said: “It was like a surreal moment for me. I saw it, and it just took a second to register that this was finally my car. And that I was going to have the privilege to own the very first GT-R NISMO for the United States and be a part of the great 30-year history of the NISMO brand.” The day was momentous for Nissan because they realized that the first GT-R NISMO was going to a very unique owner; they learned that McCulloh is an passionate enthusiast and is very familiar with Nissan’s history. Nissan Unveils Concept Vehicle at Sao Paulo International Show

 

Nissan’s design team noticed that there was a disconnect between their vehicles and the people of Brazil – they took action and developed the Kicks Concept which captures the high-spirited nature of the country and its people to bridge the gap and showcase the distinct design signature of Nissan cars. “This concept is a product of global collaboration, but it was inspired by the streets of Brazil and designed for its people,” said Mamoru Aoki, Executive Design Director of Nissan’s Global Design Strategy Department. The Kicks Concept was unveiled at the Sao Paulo International Motor Show earlier this month and the design truly captures the grey tones of the urban settings in Sao Paulo and the bright natural colors that can be found in Rio. “What we try to achieve is this kind of duality. It fits your pragmatic needs but also provides a sense of style and an extra sense of substance that we feel is missing in the market right now,” said Project Lead Designer Hiren Patel of Nissan Design America.
