Nissan has announced that it is on its way to the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year with a new race car set for the Super Bowl. There has been an enormous amount of speculation regarding the new race car and its design. Rumors are it will feature a front-mid-engine, hybrid powertrain, although Nissan has yet to confirm. The race car is said to feature a longer snout compared to the other LMP1 class prototypes and the idea of hosting a front-mid engine car has given rise to several interesting packaging rumors.
